This ground-breaking audio
program and resource guide will help you...
Rethink, Redefine, and
Reinvent the Teen Years!
Stop wasting the best years of your teen's life and move
beyond high school. High school is not mandatory for a good life!
Learn how to rescue your teen from the banality of standardized high
school curriculum without forfeiting their options for the future.
~ Darleen Saunders of Sacramento, CA exclaimed...
"The Unschool Your Teen Seminar was well-worth the price — and then
some! The speakers were all great and provided a variety of useful topics. The
panel of unschoolers was super. And the resource guide is worth its weight in
gold."
How would life be different if instead of nagging your teen to do their
schoolwork, you could collaborate with your teen to create challenging learning adventures
that develop the skills they need to achieve their dreams?
You can by "unschooling" your teen. Unschooling is not the
same thing as homeschooling — although legally, your teen may be called a "homeschooler."
For the uninitiated, "homeschooling" calls to mind the image
of a parent spoon-feeding curriculum to a teenager at the dining room table everyday. It's not
a pretty picture — and it's not what unschooling is all about!
Teens need and want independence. They are happiest learning from real-world
adventures and hands-on experiences. Unschooling allows them to take responsibility for their time
and their lives. Parents act not as teachers, but as facilitators in the process of helping their
young adult children manifest their dreams.

only look good to college admission boards and potential employers — but will truly prepare your
teen to be successful in the real world.

manual will remove the guesswork, frustration and fear, save you time and money, and give you the

and performing in music venues with their bands. Both young men are graduates
of the Musician's Institute in Hollywood and are pursing careers in the music industry.
Diane shares her story along with her personal Resource Guide giving
you referrals to the tools and materials that will INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE your teen.
Diane has spent thousands of hours and dollars on researching and

other parents. She has a good idea of what works and what doesn't when it comes to motivating
teens to unschool their way to an extraordinary life.
Diane is a popular speaker at homeschool conferences and has been a
distinguished presenter at professional development seminars for teachers and has testified

A Teenager's Guide to Skipping High School and Going to College
offers an intriguing approach that encourages teens to follow their dreams as a path to gaining
acceptance to the college of their choice.
Learn how independent teens can self-design their high
school education by becoming unschooled. By bypassing high school curriculum they can engage
in meaningful adventures that prove the five preparatory results college admission panels look
for including: intellectual passion, leadership, logical reasoning, background knowledge, and
the capacity for structured learning.
Blake designs and leads innovative trips for self-directed teens through
his companies Unschool Adventures and Homeschool Leadership Retreats. He is the former assistant
director and acting director of Deer Crossing Wilderness Summer Camp, through which he co-instructed

Aidan Young
Aidan unschooled through high school, growing up as a naturalist and musician.

teaches music and helps to run an educational non-profit organization called
the Riekes Center that specializes in providing athletic training, nature studies,

~ JAlison Gann, from Topanga, CA was excited to say...
"Hearing the energy and confidence of the "unschool graduates"
was inspiring! Diane's enthusiastic and empowering manner about taking the
risk of unschooling and the joy it offers — reminded me to be more
confident and step out more fully into unschooling."
Zen Zenith
Raised an unschooler in the San Francisco Bay Area, Zen is a passionate musician and
educator who graduated from The Musicians Institute in Hollywood. At age 16 he was
playing guitar in rock bands — a practice he still continues today as the lead
singer of "Please Do Not Fight." He has spent the past five years teaching
and mentoring students through music in the San Francisco Bay Area and at the yearly
Not Back To School Camp in Oregon.
Sarah Riegelhaupt-Herzig
Sarah attended traditional public school through most of 6th grade — and hated it!
She never fit in socially or academically with her peers. She spent a couple of years
begging her mom to let her out of school. Her mom refused because she was worried for
Sarah's future. Then, Sarah's mom attended a presentation on unschooling and realized
that Sarah could still go to college if she chose. So, in 6th grade, Sarah left school
and unschooled for the next few years. At the age of 14, she started attending Foothill
Community College in Los Altos, California. She passed the California High School
Proficiency Exam at 15 and transferred to the University of California Santa Cruz at 17.
Now, at 19, Sarah is completing her B.S. in Marine Biology.
These seasoned unschoolers share their
experiences with you and will reassure you that unschooling is a productive, fulfilling
way to live, learn, and grow.
~ Jan Rains, from Concord, CA was happy to say...
"All of the speakers' presentations were outstanding. This was just the 'shot in
the arm' I needed at this point in unschooling our teen."

Thank you, thank you, and thank you
